As a supplier of speciality ingredients, Leathams sources both from the UK marketplace and from a global supply base. It invests significantly in the UK and champions welfare assured, organic and local British produce. Leathams is a member of the Red Tractor scheme which places emphasis on high farming standards, food safety, animal welfare and good environmental practices, and it supplies a range of Red Tractor certified meat and dairy products.
When sourcing on a global level, Leathams works in partnership with its suppliers; helping with social development and employee welfare and seeking to improve technical processes and increase food welfare beyond the minimum standards set by UK law.
